The photos are created with their own rythm; the condensate of a single movement at the moment, when the light falls on the sensor. Clear shapes become flowing surfaces, colors become gradients, something previously unseen emerges from the incidential. These photos are developed but not manipulated.

Thomas Görger is a German photographer. The focus of his artistic work is the depiction of processes, developments, movement and time. For example, in the Variations series, photos are created with their own rhythm; the condensate of a movement at the moment when the light falls on the sensor. Clear shapes become flowing surfaces, colors become gradients, something previously unseen emerges from the incidental.. The observation of the sky in the SkyProject and the documentation of the change of a strip only a few pixels high over a long period of time in just one image is the most recent work on the subject.
